Govt Terms & Conditions

Official employment terms & conditions set by the Government of Pakistan for overseas recruitment and workforce protection.

Every employment contract must be for at least 1 year, unless otherwise defined under host country labour law.

A probationary period of 90 days applies, or as per the host country’s labour law.

Standard duty is 8 hours daily. Maximum allowed is 12 hours (extra 4 hours must be paid as overtime).

Employees work 6 days per week with 1 paid rest day guaranteed.

Overtime must be paid at least 1.5x the basic hourly wage or as per host country law.

Employer must provide free bachelor housing with electricity, water, gas, and bed. Tents not acceptable.

Employer must provide free food or pay 25% of basic salary instead (not applicable in UAE & Bahrain).

Employer is responsible for providing free medical facilities.

Employer must provide free transport between residence and workplace.

Employer must provide economy airfare from hire location to worksite and back after contract completion.

Employees are entitled to vacation leave as per host country’s labour law.

Sick leave must be granted according to host country’s labour law.

Employer must provide insurance coverage & social security benefits as required by host country law.
